Creating a Moment in Time

So I wanted to first say I'm sorry for posting my "Thursday" blog a day late. Last night we were on our way out to see my step-daughters Montessori School recital.
So my note to self is prepare early!!!
The experience driving out
to the suburbs was great. Took a little nap, cause my fatigue has been getting me
down lately. Once we arrived, seeing her cute little self in her pink dress and boots made my
day. The reason I was even more excited to see her production was because the
finale was “Seasons of Love,” from RENT the musical. She was so
excited to share this with me a few weeks ago, because this is a song we have
been listening too for awhile together. I have loved this musical for so many
years and to be able to share that with my little best friend has been amazing.

The musical itself has too much adult content to fully express for a kid, however, there are some amazing songs within the musical that can be shared and that makes me so happy. To think of how much theatre and musicals have impacted my life and to share a little piece of that with my step-daughter is such a blessing.
So here's to a musical that truly changed a piece of me forever, and has allowed me to share a song with my step-daughter she loves and got to perform....
